1. Introduction
Welcome to BD Medicine. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and all related online pharmacy services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By using our Platform, you confirm that:

- You will comply with all applicable laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
These laws include, but are not limited to: Drugs Act 1940; Drugs (Control) Ordinance 1982; Pharmacy Ordinance 1976; DGDA regulations; Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009; Contract Act 1872; ICT Act 2006; Digital Security Act 2018; and the National Digital Commerce Policy 2018 (as amended).
2. Account Registration
- You may browse the Platform without an account, but placing an order requires registration.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- Any activity carried out through your account will be treated as your own.
3. User Obligations
You agree that you will:
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
- Not attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the security or functionality of the Platform.
- Provide valid prescriptions when ordering prescription-only medicines.
- Ensure that all information you provide, including address, contact details, and prescription data, is accurate and complete.
4. Product Information & Availability
- We strive to display accurate descriptions, images, prices, and availability of products.
- Product availability may change based on stock, DGDA regulations, or delivery location.
- We may modify or discontinue any product at any time without prior notice.
5. Orders & Payment
- Orders are confirmed only after successful payment processing.
- We accept online payments via secure gateways and may offer Cash on Delivery in selected locations.
- If an order cannot be fulfilled, we reserve the right to cancel it and issue a refund in line with our Refund Policy.
- Payments must comply with Bangladesh Bank guidelines and applicable AML and KYC rules.
6. Prescription Medicines
- Prescription-only medicines will not be dispensed without a valid, legible prescription issued by a licensed doctor in Bangladesh.
- We may verify prescriptions and may refuse to process any order that appears forged, altered, or non-compliant with DGDA rules.
7. Delivery
- We deliver nationwide through approved logistics partners.
- Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to location, stock levels, traffic, weather, or courier delays.
- Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the order is delivered to the provided address and received by you or your representative.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Bangladeshi law, BD Medicine:
- Is not responsible for delays caused by third-party courier services.
- Is not liable for any side effects, adverse reactions, or health issues arising from the use or misuse of medicines. Always consult your doctor.
- Is not liable for losses caused by incorrect information provided by you.
- Limits its total liability to the amount you paid for the relevant order.
9. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Platform (including the BD Medicine name, logo, text, graphics, and software) is protected under the Copyright Act 2000 (Bangladesh).
- You may not copy, distribute, modify, or use any content without our prior written consent.
10. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms & Conditions.
- Fraudulent, unlawful, or suspicious activity is detected on your account.
- We are required to do so by law or by a competent authority in Bangladesh.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, including but not limited to:
- Drugs Act 1940
- Drugs (Control) Ordinance 1982
- Pharmacy Ordinance 1976
- Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009
- Contract Act 1872
- ICT Act 2006
- Digital Security Act 2018
- National Digital Commerce Policy 2018 (as amended)
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Insert City], Bangladesh.
